Pustakopahaar- 2026
Pustakopahar 2026 was successfully organized at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 Udhampur under the able guidance of the Principal, Swati Bansal. The programme was conducted with great enthusiasm and aimed at promoting reading habits, encouraging the sharing of books, and creating environmental awareness among students.
As part of this initiative, students donated their used textbooks, storybooks, and reference materials in good condition. These books were systematically collected and distributed among junior and economically disadvantaged students. In addition, teachers conducted awareness sessions highlighting the importance of reading and the judicious use and reuse of resources.
The programme witnessed active and enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and the school library. It helped in inculcating values such as sharing, compassion, and social responsibility among students. The Principal appreciated the sincere efforts of all participants and commended them for contributing to this noble cause.
In conclusion, Pustakopahar 2026 was conducted successfully and proved to be an effective initiative in promoting knowledge, cooperation, and sustainability within the school community.
